Cruise

William and I went on a cruise with our friends Bree and Chad. We had a blast!!!

New Orleans (point of departure) Playing in the wind on the deck of the ship!

Snorkeling and having a great time in Roatan.

Riding ATV's through the rain forest, cave tubing, and William jumping into the river in Belize

Sailing on a catamaran in Cozumel, and hanging out on the ship.

It was a great trip!!! I can't wait to do it again.

We are finally here!

We have had a couple of crazy weeks!!!

Jessica had a wonderful time dancing at the Stadium of Fire. She stayed in Provo for three days practicing with all the dancers. There were around 400 dancers. She worked hard! We were all able to go to the show. It was amazing. We could see Jessica (I didn't think we would be able to pick her out since there were so many dancers)! I was so proud of her. She did an amazing job!!!!

The next day we all said our goodbyes, (I cried) got in the van and drove to Washington. Now the plan was to stop in Oregon and spend the night, but the motel wouldn't take dogs, so we drove all the way in one day. On the way, Jessica and Quinci became sick. Quinci threw up twice. Ugh!!!

Monday we started unpacking. So many boxes. All the boxes that are inside the house have been unpacked. We still have a bunch in the garage. The thing is...the boxes in the garage are labeled food storage, holiday, or garage. We are still missing the phone, some items from bedrooms, and the kitchen. Where oh where could they be? We will go through the garage today and the rest of the weekend. My goal is to be done with everything by next weekend. (The garage will take longer then I would like, because we are painting the floor.)

We love our new home, and the people we have met. It has been an amazing experience. We have been so blessed! We miss our family and friends, but we know that we will stay in touch.

Grow, grow, grow

There are times when I tend to wish away time. Potty training was one of those times when I just couldn't wait for it to be over. Another one was when I was sick during pregnancy. Sometimes it is hard to enjoy the moment. As I get older, I am learning to enjoy every single second. Kids grow so fast, years fly by and you can never get those moments back. I am learning to let things go, breath, and find the joy in the little things. I am forever grateful to be the mom of the most wonderful kids.

Time to get moving

So much has happened in the last month. I went to Washington in April to house hunt. We found a house that we love in North Bend. We will close on it June 27th. While we were looking for homes, Andrew became very sick. The kids were all staying with my parents, so they had to take him to the doctors. They ended up in the emergency room. Andrew had to have an I.V., and have a cat scan. He was much better after receiving the fluids. They didn't find anything wrong!!! It broke my heart that I wasn't there with him while he was going through it all.

A couple of weeks ago our house went under contract. We will move out June 21st. We look forward to being together as a family, but will be sad to leave our home, family, and friends. Now we have to get everything ready to move...the next month is going to fly by!

The house is for sale!

Well, it is official! We have a for sale sign in our yard. When I first saw it, my heart ached. I am so sad that we will be leaving our cute little house! We have worked so hard on it and had many wonderful memories here. We will miss our family and friends.

William has been gone for almost a week now, and already I am tired of being alone. I can't imagine how I am going to do it for 3 more months. Ugh.

I know that when we follow the promptings of the Spirit, we will be blessed. This is one of those times. Although we will miss everyone, and our home...we know we need to go to Washington.

Time to start blogging again!!

We just found out that we are moving to Seattle! William was offered a great job that will begin on Monday. The kids and I will stay in Utah until the end of the school year. We will be busy packing and getting the house sold. We look forward to this new experience, and the opportunity to meet new friends and see new places. We will miss our family and friends in Utah!!!
My sister informed me that since we would be living so far away I better start blogging again. I think this will be a great way to stay connected!!
